Just a heads up. There are two significant changes on how to get to my photos. First, I have upgraded some of the software under the hood and it both improves and changes the way the albums are accessed. Notice in the menu at the top the “PHOTOS” link. Also, in the sidebar menu to your right at the bottom, you can jump directly to a particular photo album by expanding trees — click on the plus symbol. G’night.

One of my favorite things to do is make black and whites out of my color photos with Photoshop. Granted, I am not of the artistic genius that I consider my coworkers to be, but I do enjoy playing with my photos and look forward to the day when I can pick up a new Canon dSLR. Click on the images to see the full photoshopping affects.

One of my coworkers went to Vermont on vacation. He sent me a photo, which I uploaded to my gallery. I am infinitely jealous right now because it looks so much cooler there.

SCS Sports Karate Holds an In-House Tourney

Ok, ok. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I mean, a lot of the kids at SCS Sports Karate are friends, right? Heh, riiiiight. All of them came to win. It was exciting to watch intense faces during kata, but the kids certainly hooked me when they started sparring. It was amazing to watch them compete so hard for that next point, become so emotionally vested in wanting to win, and so gracious in winning or losing. Hands down, Sam and Crissi run a great program turning out great black belts.

I appreciate that everyone allowed me run around like I knew what I was doing. I only wish my camera was faster to catch some of those action shots.

How many folks reading this awful blog know that I am a fairly unapologetic gamer from way back? Hands? My first game was loaded on a TI-99/4A with a cassette recorder. It was character symbols for monsters. Pipes, dashes, and the plus symbols made up corridors. We are talking an easy 20-25 years ago without carbon dating myself.

There is more after you click the link below…I know you just can’t wait…go on, click it.
